Ever since my childhood, I had a huge interest in computers, and eventually through my middle school and high school, developed interest towards Programming. Finally, I chose to pursue my Bachelors of Engineering in Computer Science and the subject never failed to fascinate me. It is from my second year of college studies I found and developed my passion towards Artificial Intelligence.

Academic Achievements

• Have presented a presentation titled ‘Convolutional Neural Networks’ in the International Conference on Future Intelligence Computing 2020 at EGS Pillay Engineering College Nagapattinam which is co authored by my academic adviser and class mate.
• Have won the first prize at Thiran competition which is a competition of projects across the college sponsored by the alumni of the college.
• Got selected on my project proposal among my college for Smart India Hackathon from my college.
• Have won the first place in a cloud robotics workshop held in our college.

Volunteering

Nextgen Coordinator

NEXTGEN is an innovative platform founded by alumni of our college to enhance the technical skills of students in the upcoming technologies, where the trainers from organisations like SmartBridge take workshops to a selected set of students in a hands-on manner. Students of groups implement things as a project in fields like artificial intelligence, internet of things, and robotics in the lab on our college.

We coordinators were in charge of organising workshops, organizing project expos to transfer the knowledge we had received to our classmates. We were also in charge of determining the next student group by conducting relevant tests.

Xprez Chief Designer

Xprez is the ACGCET's college magazine team which is responsible for publishing yearly publications and handling the social media. I lead the graphic designing team of the college which is one of the critical positions among Xprez. My specific responsibility comprises a lot of designing that includes magazines, logos and posters, leading the design team to produce the magazine, coordinating with the content team and even selecting the junior designers. Apart from the college magazine team I have also worked on various posters, invitations, booklets for my department fairs and symposiums.

Other volunteering

• I was the class president for 2 years of my college year. I was responsible for maintain the faculty student interaction, passing on essential information and other management related responsibilities.
• I was an excursion organizer and was responsible for planning out events, calculating out the estimation, collecting payments, preparing appropriate documentation and making the trip a successful one in broader picture.
• I have been an active member in Youth Red Cross Club in my college and have assisted in cleaning the college locality and contributing towards spreading awareness among people about the spread of diseases.
• I love photography and have covered a lot of college events.

Extra Curriculars

Badminton Captain

I have been playing badminton all my life since the age of 12. I lead the badminton team of ACGCET which comprises training the team members and juniors, managing the team members and daily training.

Inter year tournament is conducted yearly between the different years of the college. I have never been defeated in that competition making me the undefeated one in my 4 years of college .
